PAIRINGS - WIne Tasting and House Concert Event

Home of Dennis and Pam, 22 Inglewood Place , Whitby ON

Sommelier Chris Marcucci and Musician Abby Zotz - themselves a dynamic duo - join forces for this two-part event. Chris kicks the evening off with wine and food tastings that reveal the basics in pairing to help you get the most out of your meal from start to finish. Abby and her band of Local Honeys, along with very special guest, Bryan Williston, follow with a set of songs matched to one another by theme, tone or performance configuration - there may even be a band-audience pair-up or two in the mix - that will send you home cozy and satisfied.

ABOUT your Sommelier for the Evening: Chris has his sommelier certification from the Canadian Association of Sommelier Professionals and has been conducting wine tastings throughout the GTA for the past 10 years. He interned at Barberian’s Steak House in Toronto, has worked at the LCBO and assisted at Norman Hardie Winery and Vineyard in Prince Edward County. Chris’s other great passion is eco-friendly farming which he practises year-round at Cedar Hedge Farm, his off-the-grid herbicide and pesticide free property north of Port Hope ON, where he specializes in eggs, micro greens and unique and unusual heritage vegetables and fruit.
